Judiciary Restored

Posted by Umema Siddiqi on Thursday, March 19, 2009 in ,
In our country, judiciary has been restored lately. This reminds me of a story told by our Auditing professor, Mr. Yusuf Abid. Here goes the story:

I really liked this story. And this is so true - a country where there is no justice, people don't like to live there.

With the judges and CJ restored now, I hope and pray that the people of this country get justice and support just and fair decisions. Ameen.

Cheerio folks =)

Ok done. Restored .. cause achieved.

But what if the ones responsible in cause of justice are corrupt themselves?

If someone abuses me I still can't think of going to knock justice's door .. at least in Pakistan =|

Fazool story. :P :P

You expect justice from a man who never took notice of the bad deeds of his own side? Come on!

The show has only started. Whatever illusions these lawyers and judges and opposition parties showed to the nation will poof-out soon and then the real fun will begin. :D

It is so godamn easy to talk and talk and talk in perfectly tuned temperature environment to suit your skin cells.

And it is equally godamn hard to take a stand and fight for your right.

~Asma: The problem is nobody accepts their faults. So it's pretty hard to decide who's right and who's wrong.

~Shuaib: Come out. I don't mind :D

~Senilius: Well, I can just pray :D And what do you mean by "real fun"? :P

~Vaqas: Hey, welcome back :D
Look, we don't know who's right and who's not. We can't enter into people's brains. I like Musharraf. People may contradict. And if others like the CJ and his clan, I contradict. We all have different views. And the funniest part is, all the people we support are corrupt some way or the other :D

judge corrupt tha :P, but I am optimistic and I dont like Musharraf :P

And heyyyyyy, honey, according to your theory everybody's corrupt, including you and people who think like you and of course who dont think like you.
And on top of it, you keep laughing on yourself, who is corrupt, and those who, are corrupt according to your theory, didn't accept a bully and burnt their skins and gave their blood.
people like you would have called making of Pakistan a 'madness'.

Wow! You are inspiring.

~Acro: Lol. That's your view :D

~Vaqas: Ohhoooo. You're twisting my point of view into something else. You have this habit - you always put words into my mouth! :@

:P

It simply means you don't understand what you say.

~Vaqas: And you're right! I really don't. Whatever I hear people say about the CJ or Mush or Obama, I just listen to them. I don't form my opinions. I heard this story from my Proffy who's a big fan of CJ and I wrote it as it is.

@ All: In this of my post, I do not attempt to support or oppose the judiciary or anyone else. I just hope and pray AGAIN that we all get the strength and wisdom to support the truth. Ameen!

i read this story in Jang few days back and it's true!

As they say "Beshak Baatil mitnay k Liya hay". The "Batil-ness" does not exist anymore. Both the civilian and military dictator got defeated.

Ifti was hated because he took actions against Mush's crimes. Remember missing people case and how his son sold out Aafia Siddiqi, killed hundreds of students at Jamia Hafsa and oh well, illegal forms(reminds me his Chak Shahzad Farm house) *grin*

and I agree when you say:

pray AGAIN that we all get the strength and wisdom to support the truth

p.s: I wish I could see Mush's facial expression on his defeat. :-)

~Chumpoo: We all have different views. May be you're right. Waisay I'd love to go interview both these men and try to extract the realities from them :D

Lol @ your PS note. Start watching Geo, if you don't :D But now they usually make fun of Zard-aari. Mush is puraana maal for them :D

Now he will serve "Justice" to Pakistanis. And don't mind these anti-Mushies girl, after ten months they'll be cursing their own man.

assalam o alaikum!
what so ever may be the past record of the restored judges,i hope n pray that they may give just decisions in the days to come. Otherwise we might have "NIZAM E ADL"( ALLAH na karey)

Anonymous says:

~Senilius: Let's see who's right to what extent. Time will tell, I don't want to make any assumptions.

~Rasheed: I pray the same :)

I'm not gonna comment on the Judiciary or the current political scene, because you know I'm pro-military-rule in Pakistan anyway :P

Oh, and you've been chosen for the lemonade award!

@Senilius: ehhehe. Take it easy my friend! :-) Atleast I don't follow ordinary men like Prophets.Neither we are supposed to follow them anyway whether they do right or wrong. I don't worship celebrities. I supported Mush and Altaf Bai till they were on right track. Same with Ifti, the day he acted like the dictators,I will oppose him.

Chumpoo houn but ignorant nahin :-)

Mush is puraana maal for them :D

Umema, that's the harsh reality of my friend. Janay walay ko koi nahi poochta. As they say in Urdu, "Charhtay Sooraj ko Salam" :-)

sab thaat Dhara rah jaye ga jab laad chalay ga Banjara

Anonymous says:

~Absar: Lol. Thanks for the lemonade award thing. Will surely write about it soon (let's see how soon) :D

~Chumpoo: Your urdu mahawara rhymed with the "Ab pachtai ki hoat jab chiryaan chug gaien khait" :) Ab don't argue as usual. Mein ne keh dia ke it rhymes so it does rhyme :D

Start forming your own opinions!!!!!

Anonymous says:

@Chumpoo: Ordinary men like Prophets?

Anonymous says:

Read the entire comment rather taking it out of the context. I meant I don't consider ordinary people important enough like prophets that I have to follow them anyway.

Ok Choti Khala. Jo aap ka Hukam. :P

Waisay I'd love to go interview both these men and try to extract the realities from them :D

just like Sohail Waraich of GEO. Something like:

Dinky to Ifti: Ye batain, aap ki tu itni umar hay magar aap ka baal ab bhe kaalay hain. Kiya ye Khula Tazad Nahin?

Dinky to Mushi: Ye batain, mukka tu aap ka Akhri chalna thaa, magar wo akhri mukka aap ke he naak par parh gaya. Kiya ye Khulla Tazaad nahin?

:P

I was asking for an explanation of something ambiguous. Next time do make sure to write clearly.

Anonymous says:
